Casa GL
In the empolese area, in a residential zone, a total-look project for a modern, informal, and above all welcoming home—this was the client’s request. With Ferro Fiemme tremila wood flooring featuring a planed-sawn finish, the entire flooring surface of the property and the stairs were covered, extending up to the kitchen snack counter that frames the central island with 45° angled cuts.
The minimalist kitchen, with white lacquered doors and push-pull opening system, dominates the large dining room and contrasts with the rustic style of the exposed, whitewashed beam ceiling.
The minimal, design-oriented dining area overlooks the kitchen, where stools in graduated sugar paper color add a touch of color to the space.
The brightness from the large window surfaces enhances the furnishings and guides us into the living area, where sofas gather around a fireplace clad in a cement effect.
The daytime area is completed by a study furnished in the same minimal style, with an industrial touch for the desk and a revisited classic vibe for the armchair.
Overall, the blend of modern and classic perfectly dialogues with the extra-clear glass balustrades of the custom staircase, which has a white lacquered iron structure and wooden steps matching the flooring—Ferro Fiemme tremila—leading to the sleeping area
