What was your initial need? Was there something that worried you?

When we started thinking about our house, our dream was to have a wooden floor. Moreover, we knew Fiemme Tremila, and when we discovered that Artwood was an official dealer of this brand, we said to ourselves "why not, let's try it!". It should be added that Michela's grandmother came from Val di Fiemme, so this element gave us an extra push. We don't hide that the main concern was the cost. We knew what kind of product Fiemme Tremila offers and had to understand if our dream could become reality or not. Among the things we evaluated was also the delicacy of the material (having a two-year-old child...) and compatibility with the underfloor heating we were planning.

What did you appreciate most about our work?

From Artwood, we appreciated the professionalism, simply put. From the first meeting with Marco and then subsequently with Trevis, we realized that "we could do it" and that it was especially worth it. Andrea and Massimiliano, who carried out the installation work, proved not only impeccable professionals but also very accommodating people willing to meet every need (the house was to be delivered a few days later and they had to work alongside 3 other companies...).

We are very happy with the choice we made and would certainly recommend Artwood and Fiemme Tremila. We don't hide that our dream had a certain price, but considering all aspects, we are glad we didn't skimp on one of the most important (and now most beautiful) elements of our home.

What was your initial need? Was there something that worried you?

Building a house and therefore designing it in terms of spaces and details right from the foundations was truly a pleasure. We decided right away to rely on a trusted professional with whom we designed the spaces, furnished our home, and together chose the materials. One of the cornerstones of the project was the choice of flooring, which we wanted throughout the house in wood to be able to walk barefoot and feel essentially always in contact with nature. Our only concern was using wood in the kitchen and bathrooms, since we love living in the house without too many reservations: we have two teenage children, we like to invite friends often, and we were looking for a natural material that didn't require too much attention. Additionally, we wanted to bring the staircase to life, which the builder had already made in reinforced concrete and which was the only element of the house we hadn't been able to personalize and that worried us a bit. We fell in love with the material at first sight, and the visit to the Castelfiorentino showroom gave us the confirmations we were looking for. We found a group of very helpful people who worked together with our architect. And so the Fiemme wood became the element that accompanies us throughout the house: the flooring, the stairs, the triangular-shaped baseboards, the sliding doors with hidden hinges, the finishes in the bathrooms, the cabinet and sink top also covered with the same wood used for the flooring. As for our initial concern, we chose the most resistant material, "piano sega" processing, for the larger trafficked areas (ground floor and stairs) and the same material in the "smooth" version for the upper floor (bedrooms).​

I will surely be your advocate for the great professionalism I encountered, for the clarity from an economic point of view but also for the great consistency with what is provided, for the great professionalism and attention in the installation and after-sales phase, and for your ability to add elements of customization

What was your initial need? Was there something that worried you?

During the renovation of our flat, we turned to Artwood to purchase parquet flooring, already convinced that we were choosing a product of undisputed quality. Well, in the end, we had to change our minds completely: we didn't just buy ONE product, but MANY, many more.

What did you appreciate most about our work?

The Artwood staff (and specifically Trevis, our ‘personal designer’, to whom we owe eternal gratitude) guided, supported, advised and listened to us in our search for materials and furnishings for the entire home. Here is an example: we had already started making arrangements with another company to design the kitchen; when we talked to Trevis about it, he offered, without obligation, to propose a different solution, since he was not at all convinced by the one we had chosen. We accepted, absolutely convinced that it would not be possible to change our minds. The result was as follows: Trevis was right and we were wrong on all counts; not only did we find the design proposed by Artwood infinitely more appealing from an aesthetic point of view, but it was also easier to implement and more functional. The complete renovation of an apartment is not a simple and painless process; in addition to the energy (and financial) expenditure involved, it is very easy to become frustrated when there are too many unexpected events and difficult choices to make. The Artwood team helped us avoid compromising on the difficulties that loomed on the horizon: they are craftsmen and know that various materials can be shaped and moulded to achieve the desired effect. And that is how we achieved an integrated environment, where the furnishings blend harmoniously with the chosen finishes, enhancing each other. The Fiemme parquet flooring (we chose a beautiful Argento oak) not only characterises the floor, but also rises to characterise the kitchen in its brushed finish snack counter and in its side as storage shelves; it descends to embrace the attic, blending with the marble staircase and softening the transition between materials; it covers the full height of the door to adorn the walls without weighing down the overall effect; it covers the wall behind the bed so that the headboard forms a homogeneous continuum with the floor. A unique, healthy and biocompatible material that has been the common thread for every room, lending naturalness, elegance and, above all, well-being. The subjectivity of aesthetic taste is indisputable; however, coming home every day to a house that you consider beautiful and welcoming is equally so.
