The flooring that furnishes. This is the distinctive mark of this house nestled in the green Florentine hills.

A placid stream flowing under the snow, an oak crystallized in the cold, whose intimate warmth emerges from the dense interweaving of tortora and hazelnut nuances broken by subtle vibrations of gray and pink.

The Thermowood treatment process hardens the fiber, providing exceptional wear resistance. This feature, along with its chromatic aesthetic elegance, convinced the clients, who wanted an indestructible yet natural and biocompatible material.

The handcrafted Piano Sega recreates the rustic effect of board cuts made with old saws, further increasing foot traffic resistance and helping to blend the signs of time.

This exceptional flooring exceeded client expectations; trusting our design, they used the same material for sliding doors with hidden tracks, the bathroom sink top, and the upstairs bathroom wall cladding.

The staircase was clad with flooring wood planks, creating continuity between the two levels of the house, unaffected by the different finish—brushed on the first floor, as the wood retains the same chromatic characteristics, softening for more intimate spaces like the sleeping area.

For the rest of the furnishings, total white was chosen to highlight the home’s key element: the Biocompatibile FIEMME Tremila flooring.
