Loft LT

Materials: Rovere ARGENTO Fiemme Tremila, Acciaio Corten, crystal, white lacquer.

The challenge was to transform a typical 1970s home into a modern and comfortable loft.

Space planning was key to dividing living areas with clean, modern furnishings; the continuity of materials creates perfect balance between the total-white kitchen and the knotty, brushed Rovere ARGENTO Fiemme Tremila, a perfect contrast with the exposed beams in treated Acciaio Corten and the extra-clear crystal used for the railings.

The large cantilevered peninsula over the stairwell ideally divides the living room that opens up as you climb the stairs; crystal elements like the balustrades and large table bring transparency and light to the space.

The harmony among materials—despite their different origins (wood, steel, crystal)—creates a leitmotif across furnishings, such as the full-height flush door, the kitchen snack area and visible shelves in Rovere ARGENTO piano sega FIEMME Tremila, the bed headboard made with the same flooring planks, the fireplace cladding in treated Corten steel, paired with the clean white lacquer of the kitchen and doors. This elevates these splendid materials, which embody nature and living well-being in their DNA
