Liberty-style villa

Reinterpreting a Liberty-style villa in the province of Pisa while preserving its historical identity was a challenge that excited us. The result is the fruit of a unique collaboration between the LDA.iMdA architecture firm and our team, a total renovation that blends minimalist and contemporary elegance, creating a refined and functional atmosphere in a setting rich in history and tradition.

At the heart of the restoration project is the new staircase, made entirely of metal and geometrically inspired by the original staircase. Its opening onto the rear façade interacts with the surrounding park, becoming a key element in the continuity between interior and exterior.

The kitchen is another focal point: the bold and sophisticated total black design lends depth and timeless elegance. The black island, flanked by functional columns that reach up to the ceiling, integrates a refrigerator, oven, wine cooler and extendable worktop, combining aesthetics and practicality. An entrance door concealed behind one of the columns further emphasises the refined minimalism of the space. The fixed walls are transformed into a corner pantry, adding a surprising element of functionality and style.

Every detail has been carefully considered: from the materials to the colour harmony, from functionality to sophistication. In the private areas, the bedrooms and bathrooms have been fitted with RIFLESSO-coloured Fiemme Tremila oak flooring, laid in a herringbone pattern, which gives an elegant, handcrafted feel.

The bathroom, an environment of tranquillity, stands out for the imposing doors of the wardrobe from the bedroom, providing continuity and a unifying element between the two rooms, with a milled texture in light tones, cool grey contrasting with the central island of the blue washbasin with soft curves. Oval mirrors, supported by black steel structures, separate the washbasin area and offer a panoramic view of the bathtub. The washbasin tops in blue back-painted tempered glass create a harmonious visual link between the elements.

In short, this interior design project is a symphony of contemporary minimalism and uncompromising functionality. The bold use of colours and materials, combined with attention to detail, transforms the spaces into a unique and memorable experience.
